Skilled business professional needed to help build linguistic relationships between business categories and search terms. The work will be done in our Montreal office, with minimal supervision provided by an onsite engineering team and remote (CA) project manager. The project entails following a set of instructions to create mappings on a large number of terms. The work is very detailed and requires a high level of precision. Project will last between 8 and 10 weeks.

Project goal: Build a local category scheme

Day to day duties:
* Use internal tools to review business and local points of interest category names
* Research and document category types
* Develop business taxonomy for local users
* Analyze query terms
* Work under an NDA with access to proprietary data

Requirements:
* BA/BS degree (Master of Library Science, linguistics, comparative literature, social science, biology) - Desired but not required - we will test for these skills during interviews.
