SUMMARY:
The Search Marketing team is focused on developing innovate solutions to support our production and operational teams including sales, finance, and external partners. This position offers challenging opportunities to leverage your strong application development experience to deliver world class core Ad Server platform. You should be an engineer and a mathematician with a background in programming and experience in designing algorithms and coding auction engines for optimizing internet ads.
You must be well-experienced in Java based application development with expertise in J2EE Java, Spring and Apache Wicket. We are looking for hands on engineer who enjoys working within a fast paced startup type environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be designing optimization algorithms for automatically optimizing internet ads based on performance metrics. Design, development and testing of core algorithms and data structures for a leading online ad serving platform. Primary job responsibility includes (but not limited to) research, design, implement, test and deploy cutting-edge core auction engine for the Ad Server platform in Java technology on Linux platform.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum 10 years of experience with 5+ years in PPC based ad server auction algorithms including matching, targeting, ranking and delivery, based in J2EE Java technology. Object oriented programming, frameworks and software design patterns, continuous integration, automated unit testing, functional programming.
Functional Skills:
• Experience designing algorithms used for automated internet ad server optimization

• Ability to understand and work on all levels of details of the development, production deployment and end-user interactions of the ad serving platform
• MS or PhD in CS from reputed school. Other qualifications may be considered in lieu of these if an outstanding track record with prior experience in ad serving
